Cursive Text Generator โ€” ๐“’๐“พ๐“ป๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ฟ๐“ฎ Font Copy and Paste

Turn normal text into cursive letters you can copy and paste anywhere: bold script (๐“—๐“ฎ๐“ต๐“ต๐“ธ), light script (โ„‹โ„ฏ๐“๐“โ„ด) and italic. Uses real Unicode script characters, so the cursive font works in Instagram and TikTok bios, Discord names, X (Twitter) posts and game tags without installing a font. Paste cursive text back in to convert it to plain letters.

What Is Cursive Text?

Cursive text is ordinary writing converted into flowing, handwriting-style letters such as ๐“—๐“ฎ๐“ต๐“ต๐“ธ or โ„‹โ„ฏ๐“๐“โ„ด. Unlike a cursive font in a word processor, these letters are real Unicode characters, so the style stays when you copy and paste them into apps that don't let you change fonts.

That makes cursive text popular for Instagram and TikTok bios, Discord and gaming names, wedding and birthday captions, and anywhere you want words to look elegant or personal.

Where Cursive Letters Come From

The letters come from Unicode's Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, added in Unicode 3.1 in 2001. Mathematicians use letter style to tell symbols apart, so a script ๐’œ can mean something different from a plain A. Unicode encoded complete script, bold script, italic and bold italic alphabets for that purpose.

The light script alphabet has a twist. Eleven script letters, including โ„ฌ, โ„ฐ, โ„‹, โ„’, โ„›, โ„ฏ, โ„Š and โ„ด, were already in Unicode's older Letterlike Symbols block, so the maths block leaves gaps where they would go. This generator fills those gaps from the older block, which is why it never leaves blank spaces in words like "Hello" the way some cursive generators do.

Tips for Using Cursive Text

Script letters display on almost every modern phone and computer. Use them for a name, a short phrase or a heading rather than whole paragraphs, which are hard to read in script.

Search engines and screen readers treat cursive letters as different characters from normal ones, so a cursive caption won't show up in searches for the plain word and may be read out letter by letter. Keep links, handles and important details in normal text. Unicode has no script digits, so numbers stay as they are.

How This Cursive Text Generator Works

The generator replaces each letter with its bold script equivalent from the Unicode mathematical alphabets, so the same text always gives the same result. Numbers, spaces, punctuation and emoji are left unchanged.

It also works in reverse: paste any script, bold script, italic or bold italic text and it converts back to plain letters. The same conversion is available through the Fun Translations API for apps and bots. ๐“—๐“ช๐“ฟ๐“ฎ ๐“ฏ๐“พ๐“ท!
